Start with Beets and a Vitamix
Chop them – 1/2 a beet per 2-3l mixture
Water then whizz to emulsify
Keep adding the beets as it mixes and liquefies the Beets
Turn it up
It starts to thicken
Add carrots 2 (skin on), no heads or tails!
And the machine is still running!
Whizz it on berserk mode so you can’t hear yourself think.
Turn it down a little and add yellow squash! It has alot of vitamin C.
on high again.
put the earphones in.
poke it all down to make sure its all ground down.
High again for a minute.
I think this guy takes forever to make his smoothie and it really doesn’t need to take that long! I’ve never taken this long to make a simple smoothie!
Pour half into a container, and with the remainder in the Vitamix jug, keep going.
Add another yellow squash. Zucchini is an option.
Kale of course! 3 to 4 leaves, rinsed. Kale is nutrient heaven.
Push down the kale and add more water, then blend on low and increase the speed as the mixture becomes more liquid, pushing the food down as you go.
Keep topping up the liquid.
You could add an apple for more sweetness.
